CALLY NGUYEN is a Vietnamese-American film screenwriter, director, and producer based in Orange County, California. She will complete her BA in Cinematic Arts from California State University, Long Beach in Spring of 2026. Her most notable work as a writer/director is the short narrative film ‘Forever is a Delicate Thing’, which was selected to screen at Newport Beach Film Festival, LA Asian Film Festival, DisOrient Asian American Film Festival of Oregon, and NFFTY 2026 (National Film Festival for Talented Youth), and has received the Gold Award for Best Student Female Director and Silver Award for Best Drama Short from Independent Shorts Awards.
